Prairie continues its Fruit Funk series with a new entry, Apricot Funk. We saw Cherry Funk last year, and am looking forward to an uncommon apricot brew. Cody from Prairie gave this one to me at no cost, and remarked that the feedback on Cherry Funk was that it was much better with a couple of months of age on it, so Prairie decided to sit on this one in bottles for an additional couple of months before release. Let’s see if their patience paid off.
Prairie Apricot Funk
American Wild Ale- 6.30% ABV. Apricot Funk tastes of sour ale aged on apricots with citrus and peach sweetness. This drink starts off sweet, but finishes with some funky earthy notes and a zesty tang!
